An Inverter Delay(up to 10sec) 

Delay is one of the most essential part of power circuits. Focusing more on power inverter, the role of delay is to allow the oscillating system shutdown completely before the transformer receives charging input.
When the oscillating system is not properly shutdown this can cause lot of damage to the inverter circuit; damaging of the oscillating system and MOSFETs.
The Circuit
The delay circuit can work with any DC in which you will have play around with the R1, variable resistor, capacitor and the zener diode.
The higher the capacitance of the capacitor the longer the time (even though it can be adjusted using the variable resistor)
